The Festival is produced by a committee of volunteers, some of whom have been organizing this show for over forty years. Together we have hundreds of years of experience performing, choreographing, and dancing Israeli folk dance. We all participate in the planning process, each with our specific roles that drive the success of the show.

runs the lighting during the show and coordinates with the facilities staff.

cuts, splices, and edits the music used by our performing dancers, and is responsible for the video record we make of each show. He also runs the dance party we hold the night before the Festival

processes ticket orders and runs the box office.

Shira Frager
sends out press releases and publicity. She is also is one of our liaisons to the performing groups, getting them the information they need and collecting what we need from them. Shira also co-edits the website. |
Susan Gruber
prepares all our printed materials and publicity and is the Voice of the Festival. |
Ruth Leah Kahan
supports us by figuring out the best way to organize and present the show. |
George Kirby
compiles all the individual dance groups' music into a single musical program, and manages the sound system during the show. |
Renee Myers
organizes ticket sales to groups who want to attend the performance and sells T-shirts. She is one of our liaisons to the performing groups, getting them the information they need, and collecting what we need from them. Renee also coordinates auditorium logistics. |
Ira Vishner
prepares the agenda for our meetings, keeps the day of the show on track, and solves problems. |
Rina Wagman
manages our fundraising and other outreach programs. She also co-edits the website. |
